Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights.
This policy explains how MarantelliBet Partnership handles your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. What information we collect
- Identity & contact: name, date of birth, address, email, phone.
- Verification (KYC): identity documents and information required under the AML/CTF Act 2006.
- Financial: debit-card / payment details, deposits, withdrawals and transaction history.
- Betting activity: bets, markets, balances and responsible-gambling settings.
- Technical: device, IP address, location signals, and usage data collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. Why we collect and use it
- To open and operate your account, accept bets and process payments.
- To verify your age and identity and meet our legal obligations (AML/CTF, licensing, tax).
- To support responsible gambling, detect harm, and apply limits or exclusions.
- To prevent fraud, money laundering and prohibited conduct.
- To provide support, improve the service, and — only where you have consented — send marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
3. How we store and protect it
We store personal information using technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encryption in transit. Where information is processed by service providers, we require them to protect it. If any information is stored or processed outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
4. Who we share it with
- Identity-verification, payment and fraud-prevention providers.
- The VGCCC, AUSTRAC, law-enforcement and other authorities where required by law.
- The national self-exclusion register (BetStop) as required.
- Professional advisers, and any successor if our business is transferred.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not adopt a government-related identifier (such as a driver licence or passport number) as our own identifier for you, and we use such identifiers only as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles.
Direct marketing & your choice
We send marketing only where you have consented, and every marketing message includes a simple way to opt out. You can withdraw consent at any time in My Account or via the unsubscribe link. We never market to customers who are self-excluded or listed on BetStop. See our Advertising Code.
Data breaches
We maintain safeguards to protect your information. If an eligible data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
5. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and, with your consent, to measure and improve it. You can manage your choices at any time. Full detail, including categories, purposes, third parties and retention, is in our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
